Kay founded the Islington Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic in 1994. This became The Great Health Company in May 2003 when she incorporated the existing Chiropody and Podiatry Clinic into the practice to become a first-class multi-disciplinary service for both local people and injured sports people and dancers. She has worked both for the NHS and in private practice, in conjunction
with local GP's and consultants for the past 20 years.
Alicia graduated as a Chiropodist/Podiatrist at the University of South Australia. She worked for 7 years in Australia in both the public and private sectors, providing a large range of podiatric services, namely: paedriatrics, bioemechanics, sports and general podiatry. She came to England in April 2001 and has worked in the private sector since then, specialising in biomechanical gait analysis and the prescription of orthotic devices for sports people, children and the general public.
Sam qualified 9 years ago as a reflexologist and has extensive experience in this area. She has worked in the NHS at the Royal Free Hospital, in the private sector and abroad - Japan, India and the Caribbean where she trained many therapists. Sam specialises in reflexology which involves the stimulation of points on the feet which correspond to parts of the body. This helps to balance different parts of the body and is a most pleasurable physiological attunement.
